-
Flag Stops - DART’s bus service works as a flag stop system. In addition to the designated stops, vehicles may be flagged down at most places along the route. To flag a bus for a ride, position yourself in a safe and visible area on the correct side of the street. Make eye contact with the driver and wave your arm up and down. If safe, the bus operator will stop the vehicle as close to your location as possible. There is not an additional charge for a flagged stop.
-
Deviated Stops - Our riders may request to board or deboard the bus at safe, legal stops up to ¾ of a mile off our published route. To receive this service you must make a reservation at the DART office (800-694-6566) no later than the end of the business day before the day you wish to travel. Request a deviation for drop-off when you board the bus. Route deviations will be limited to twice per trip to maintain the schedule. Route deviations will be on a 1st come 1st serve basis.
